On most treks you get Decathlon Quechua Trek 100 shoes (₹6,999), SH 100/300 jackets (₹3,299), trekking poles, gaiters and microspikes, for a ₹3,000 refundable deposit and a ₹200 washing charge. On Chadar, Hampta Pass, Kashmir Great Lakes, Valley of Flowers, Bhrigu Lake and Rupin Pass you get free microspikes & gaiters instead. No buying or renting costly equipment: just focus on the adventure.
