Core Values
Love- We Love to Changing People’s Lives
It’s true. At Trekkaro, changing people’s lives isn't only just a
mantra, it's the precise primary of our organizational culture, the
essence of who we are, and the forceful strength behind all we do.
The aspect we look into it, change is the key to innovation, and
individuals are the way to change. From our CEOs (Chief
Experience Officers), Trekkaro staff and the many trekkers we
associate with consistently, our goal is to guarantee an authentic
and cherished life-changing experience for everyone. All things
considered, in case you’re not changing, you’re not growing.
Furthermore, isn't that what life is about?
Lead- Lead with service
Our enthusiasm for treks is matched just by our sense of duty
regarding those we serve. From helping our trekkers pick the ideal
trek, to giving them the most credible life-changing adventure
conceivable, we make a special effort to guarantee a trekking
knowledge, not at all like anything they've ever envisioned. By
constantly endeavouring to surpass desires – both theirs and our
own – we are better ready to associate with our trekkers and
change the way they see the world.
Embrace- Embrace the bizarre
While most organizations are occupied with realizing totally new
possibilities, we learned in a brief span that occasionally it's best to
simply dispose of the case inside and out. That is the reason we
support our staff – and our trekkers – to grasp the bizarre, advance
out of the way and intensely set out not far off less voyaged. It's
the reason our organization culture praises uniqueness, the
champion's decent variety and motivates daring development.
Bizarre? Maybe. Exciting? You bet. Coincidence? Absolutely not.
Create- Happiness and Community
We’re proud of our reputation as an India’s Fastest Growing
Trekking Community in innovative, authentic adventure treks, and
we endeavour to ensure we remain there. Obviously, it doesn't
generally feel like work when you love what you do as much as we
do. Maybe this is on the grounds that we're in excess of an
organization, we're a family – a group of different people joined by
a significant regard for, and excited confidence in, our qualities, as
well as each other. This one of a kind blend of regard and energy
keeps us from dismissing what makes a difference most –
Community, people, cultural exchange and advises us that creating
happiness is a privilege we as a whole offer together.
Do- Do the right thing
The establishment of our success is based on one exceptionally
basic standard: Do the right thing constantly, unfailingly. For our
staff, for our trekkers, for the people and places, we visit. It's the
contrast between booking a trek and fulfilling a once-in-a-lifetime
adventure. It's a vow to perceive the issues confronting our nation
today and act rapidly to meet them. Most importantly, it's a pledge
to continually challenge ourselves to see the big picture and
achieve significant and positive change at whatever point we can.
Responsible Tourism
At Trekkaro, we are focused on Responsible Tourism through policies
and practices which pervade all parts of our business, ensuring that all of
our treks are embraced in a way which is socially, environmentally and
culturally stable. Responsible Tourism stays at the very core of all that
we do as an expedition operator. If you have any suggestions or
comments in regards to our Responsible Tourism policy, please get in
contact with us.
We feel sound that every one of our treks should profit the local
communities, ensure the environment by limiting pollution and respect
local traditions, religion, and legacy. We tread lightly - low volume, low
impact treks are the most ideal method for safeguarding the picturesque
and delicate places we visit.
We are guests of the communities we pass through and with some idea
and care, we can ensure that everybody benefits from the experience.
We suppose that our clients have an important role to play also, with
each person ultimately determining the overall impact of the group in the
area visited. The following are some ideas you would like to consider:
Economic:
- Buy craft locally made and support local skills to encourage the
positive aspects of tourism.
- Consider tipping a reasonable amount for good service.
- Bargaining is an accepted practice in all the treks we visit - but do
so in good humour and bear in mind the amount of money you are
haggling over!
- hink carefully about giving money to beggars, it is often more
effective to give money to local charity to reduce reliance and
expectation.
Social:
- Learn a few words of the local language, it is appreciated and often
resulted in getting more than the experience.
- Ask for permission before taking the photographs from the respect
of local people.
- Enjoy the regions you visit but if possible, try and leave in a better
state than you found them in.
- Respect the local laws, culture and customs beliefs.
- Observe the dress code of the region and be aware of differences in
social behaviour and norms.
- Do not buy ancient artifacts or relics made from endangered
species.
Environment:
- Do not try to damage any plant seen on the trek.
- Wild animals should not be disturbed, touched or fed and do not
encourage local people to parade animals.
- Please burn all bio-degradable and bury away from the source of
water (30m) and please use toilet facilities if they exist.
- Our policy is to carry out all the non-biodegradable rubbish if any
is left behind in the morning, please bring to the guides attention.
- Bring along environmentally friendly shampoos and detergents and
use as little as possible to keep fresh water supplies free from
pollution.
- Be economical in using fresh water for washing and showering as
often it is in short supply.
- Consider balancing environmental impact by contributing to
Climate Care.
Why Choose Us?
i. World’s Only Free Trekking Gears Company
Trekkaro is the only trekking company in the world who is providing
Free Trekking Gears(FTG) at no charge/rent only for use during the
treks. Expensive FTG includes Decathlon Quechua Trek 100 Shoes,
Quechua SH 100/300 Jackets, Hiking Pole/Stick, Gaiters, Crampons and
Headlamp. Now, before registering the trek, there is no need to think
about the expensive trekking gears and also, do not need to buy or rent
expensive trekking gears to go on a trek.
ii. Value for money prices with an emphasis on quality
Trekkaro is not in the business of cutting our itineraries and services to
the bone to offer eye-catching cheap prices. Our great attention out treks
does, however, offer fantastic value for money. We utilize astounding
gear and appoint all around prepared staffs and leaders. We use private
transport for road travel and we provide hikers with the best quality and
nutritious meals. Our prices are lower than our peers’; we encourage
teenagers and college students to actively get involved in hiking
activities. Our aim is to increase general awareness among the youth
about some of the most beautiful trails of India in the world.
iii. Small Group
For the vast majority of our holidays, we have a maximum group size of
only 20, plus leader and staffs. It provides more contact with your
leader, readier access to off-the-beaten-path areas, greater interaction
with local communities and a reduced environmental impact. A small
number of our treks have a maximum number lower than 20.
iv. Knowledgeable and personal service
When you ring Trekkaro you speak to a well-traveled individual. We
don't have a 'sales force' as such, instead, you will be looked after by one
of our team who has direct knowledge of the region you are interested
in. It ensures that we can speak from experience, offering first-hand
knowledge and personal insight whether you want to know what's on the
breakfast menu, the best spot to take your photograph or how many
thermal vests to pack!
v. Safety on treks
We at Trekkaro take utmost care of trekkers, whether it is a beginners'
trail or of an expert level; all the safety protocols are strictly followed.
We routinely screen the trails we are offering through our local guides,
forest, and other concerned offices. While exploring new trails, you are
in unfamiliar conditions; this would require a different perspective on
health, hygiene, safety, and personal security. Our team leaders and local
guides are professional and experts in handling any situation that you
may encounter on the trails. You can rely on our experience, both in
overseeing your hiking plans and controlling your movements in your
goals, to guarantee that your experience is as pleasant and as safe as it
can be. Should you have any queries regarding treks, please feel free to
contact us.
