Day 1: Arrival at Sankri (1,950 m / 6,400 ft.); 200 Km drive from Dehradun
The drive from Dehradun to Sankri is an enchanting hill drive of 8-9 hours stretching over a 200 Km ride via Mussoorie, Damta, Naugaon, Purola, Mori, and Naitwar. You will see the beautiful valleys and forest cover throughout the journey. Sankri is a little village within the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand and the last road head to Govind Wildlife Sanctuary. Stay will be in a Guest House/Home Stay/Camp on sharing basis. The trail will commence the next morning at 07:00 AM with a light breakfast and a brief session of the Kedarkantha trek by the Trekkaro team. The cab will be arranged at an additional cost from Dehradun Railway station to Sankri at 6:30 AM. Cost of the cab- Rs. 6,500/- per vehicle (One Way)
Day 2: Sankri (1,950 m / 6,400 ft.) to Juda Ka Talab (2,773 m / 9,100 ft.); 4 Km, 4-5 hours
Initially, the trek from Sankri village to Juda Ka Talab will give you an altitude rise of about 2700 ft., this is about 4-5 hours of the trek through the dense forest trees and the thick carpet of maple and pine leaves all brown in color and witness the captivating beauty of nature. The trail goes through Saud village and which is a mild climb. Juda Ka Talab campsite will be surrounded by tall pine and oak trees and mountain slopes. Camp here for an overnight stay and enjoy the serenity scattered around this place with evening sunset and glittering sunrise in the morning.
Day 3: Juda Ka Talab (2,773 m / 9,100 ft.) to Kedarkantha Base Camp (3,429 m / 11,250 ft.); 3 Km, 2-3 hours
Today’s trail is short and again begins through dense forests of pine and oak trees only and through the steep ridge and much more dense areas, it takes 2-3 hours to reach the open highlands below the summit. This is one of the greatest stretches in this trek as the natural beauty is unbelievable and promises to depart behind an unforgettable reminiscence. As you move ahead into the forest abruptly at the end of forest trails you begin to see an extensive meadow stretching in front of the mighty Dhauladhar Ranges. This camping site has tremendous picturesque views and is the main highlight of the trek. You can roam around this place without any difficulty and can soak all the fresh tidings of nature's gift. Camp here for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Kedarkantha Base Camp (3,429 m / 11,250 ft.) to Kedarkantha Summit (3,810 m / 12,500 ft.) and descend to Hargaon (2,575 m / 8,450 ft.); 6 Km, 6-7 hour
It is a long day today, but the excitement of the journey and conquering the peak would be far greater and much more worthy in comparison to the challenges that lay ahead for the visitors. The climb is steep however absolutely worthwhile and one with rewarding views. As soon as you move slowly dense forest trails surrounding Pine trees start to disappear slowly. It takes about 2 hours to reach there. On the summit, you are surrounded by mountain valleys and ranges. Panoramic sights of the mighty Himalayas range mixed with dark blue and white clouds scattered like a painting sketched by nature just for you. You will see the Dhauladhar range, Chainsheel Pass, Har ki Dun valley, and Rupin valley. Swargarohini also comes into view along with Black Peak and Bandarpoonch. Some of the other peaks you see include Gangotri, Jaonti, Yamnotri, Jorkanden, and Draupadi ka Danda. After spending some time on the top, you head back to the campsite, have lunch at a middle point of descending at the basecamp, and head towards Hargaon. After a wonderful day, spend the night in tents.
Day 5: Hargaon (2,575 m / 8,450 ft.) to Sankri (1,950 m / 6,400 ft.) and drive to Dehradun; 6 Km, 3-4 hours
Today is the last day of the trek and you will be heading towards Sankri from where it all started an approximately 6 km long trail counting about 4 hours. After breakfast, we will descend thru a more marked well-paved path, laden with stones. A trail further leads to a ridge from where you get an awesome view of Har Ki Dun valley. After reaching Sankri by noon, sign off after having hot and delicious lunch preferably before 01:00 PM since the journey takes 7-8 hours. The cab will be arranged at an additional cost from Sankri to Dehradun Railway station at 01:00 PM. Cost of the cab- Rs. 6,500/- per vehicle (One Way)

We met them the first time but it didn't feel like it at all. They also provide gears and everything to us which was of the best quality. I will surely recommend you to try trekkaro

Once a year, one can associate with TrekKaro & the fun would be worth a year's wait. They provide very good quality food, you may gain weight even while on the trek. :P. The company is good and the trek was excellent, and the equipment that they provided was of the top class instead of renting the equipment they provide it so that the cost of renting is saved. My only advice is that you should go with trekkaro.

Wonderful trek arranged by team trekkaro! We went to Brahmatal on 26th Jan 2020. Everything was properly arranged and the FTG is a huge help. Would definitely recommend it. Though, one thing they should have mentioned beforehand: Lohajung basecamp is a campsite with tents and not a homestay. After traveling for almost 10-12hrs from Kathgodam to Lohajung, coming to know that you have to get into a tent on the spot is very difficult. So many of us were traveling from different cities for more than 24 hours and we couldn't get a place to rest or take a bath before the original trek started.

Recently did a Brahmatal trek with Trekkaro and the experience was amazing. Trek leader and co-ordinator are very helpful with anything we wanted. Hi! I had done the kedarkantha trek with them in their 11th jan 2020 batch. The team has experienced members, and the guide Guddu Bhai was experienced made the trek easier for us. The food provided was good. Though because of extreme weather, we had to cut short our trek. Rest all in all it was a very good experience with them. The main plus point about Trekkaro is their FTGs. We booked for the Kedarkantha trek in December. We were a group of 12. Everything from the pickup from Dehradun to the accommodation in -ve temperatures was completely planned. Our Guide was equally entertaining and professional, every trail was known to him. The only reason we could complete the trek was because of the trek gear #trekkaro provided us. I am not sure how did they manage to cook delicious food at those temperatures. The least temperature we experienced was -14°c and I can say the trek gear helped us enjoy even this kind of temperature. Believe me, you can't drive here by yourself if you don't have the experience. - super friendly instructors and amazing cooks - had fun playing with the snow with the team - very environmentally friendly and do things in a sustainable fashion as much as possible.

It is not feasible for individuals to purchase almost 10k worth of Trekking Gear for just a single trek. The food is perfect. So is the staff. There are really no complaints whatsoever. 10/10 would recommend.

Kudos to Ranjith kaka who made our trek even more memorable with the ramouli didi song throughout the trek. We all danced and enjoyed this song many times on the trek. Not to forget the free trekking gears. We were initially afraid if the refund will come or not but trust us.. it was sooooo smooth. Instead of investing money on the jackets and the shoes, I would go on one more trek We finished the summit smoothly.. thanks to trekkaro!! They also helped us with the commute to Rishikesh after the trek, a big thanks

Firstly to all the trekkers out there trekkaro.com is a fully legit firm and they are bound by their promises for FTG and good service. The FTG was in really good condition and perfect. I know many of you guys might be worried that how can we trust an online brand then guys you are in the 21st century and you gotta trust online things many of the trekkers in my group were really worried because I found trekkaro.com from google and no one wanted to trust it. I went on the Kedarkantha trek and it was a really good lifetime memorable experience. The food was really good and nutritious and the staff really took good care of us and they are well trained. During our journey from Dehradun to Sankri, we were feeling dizzy due to the mountain roads so we took breakfast and skipped lunch. When we reached we weren't that hungry and it was 4 pm though there were a couple of hours left for dinner our guide didn't even think once and ordered the kitchen staff to cook lunch for us because trekkaro takes care of their trekkers. FTG is their USP, which helped a lot to have a check on our spending. Guides were very experienced (Ranjith Dada and Kundan Bhaiya). Being the first trek for me, it was never disappointing for having chosen them. Would recommend to others and would do other treks in future with them.

Day 1: Arrival at Sankri (1,950 m / 6,400 ft.); 200 Km drive from Dehradun
The drive from Dehradun to Sankri is an enchanting hill drive of 8-9 hours stretching over a 200 Km ride via Mussoorie, Damta, Naugaon, Purola, Mori, and Naitwar. You will see the beautiful valleys and forest cover throughout the journey. Sankri is a little village within the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand and the last road head to Govind Wildlife Sanctuary. Stay will be in a Guest House/Home Stay/Camp on sharing basis. The trail will commence the next morning at 07:00 AM with a light breakfast and a brief session of the Kedarkantha trek by the Trekkaro team. The cab will be arranged at an additional cost from Dehradun Railway station to Sankri at 6:30 AM. Cost of the cab- Rs. 6,500/- per vehicle (One Way)
Day 2: Sankri (1,950 m / 6,400 ft.) to Juda Ka Talab (2,773 m / 9,100 ft.); 4 Km, 4-5 hours
Initially, the trek from Sankri village to Juda Ka Talab will give you an altitude rise of about 2700 ft., this is about 4-5 hours of the trek through the dense forest trees and the thick carpet of maple and pine leaves all brown in color and witness the captivating beauty of nature. The trail goes through Saud village and which is a mild climb. Juda Ka Talab campsite will be surrounded by tall pine and oak trees and mountain slopes. Camp here for an overnight stay and enjoy the serenity scattered around this place with evening sunset and glittering sunrise in the morning.
Day 3: Juda Ka Talab (2,773 m / 9,100 ft.) to Kedarkantha Base Camp (3,429 m / 11,250 ft.); 3 Km, 2-3 hours
Today’s trail is short and again begins through dense forests of pine and oak trees only and through the steep ridge and much more dense areas, it takes 2-3 hours to reach the open highlands below the summit. This is one of the greatest stretches in this trek as the natural beauty is unbelievable and promises to depart behind an unforgettable reminiscence. As you move ahead into the forest abruptly at the end of forest trails you begin to see an extensive meadow stretching in front of the mighty Dhauladhar Ranges. This camping site has tremendous picturesque views and is the main highlight of the trek. You can roam around this place without any difficulty and can soak all the fresh tidings of nature's gift. Camp here for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Kedarkantha Base Camp (3,429 m / 11,250 ft.) to Kedarkantha Summit (3,810 m / 12,500 ft.) and descend to Hargaon (2,575 m / 8,450 ft.); 6 Km, 6-7 hour
It is a long day today, but the excitement of the journey and conquering the peak would be far greater and much more worthy in comparison to the challenges that lay ahead for the visitors. The climb is steep however absolutely worthwhile and one with rewarding views. As soon as you move slowly dense forest trails surrounding Pine trees start to disappear slowly. It takes about 2 hours to reach there. On the summit, you are surrounded by mountain valleys and ranges. Panoramic sights of the mighty Himalayas range mixed with dark blue and white clouds scattered like a painting sketched by nature just for you. You will see the Dhauladhar range, Chainsheel Pass, Har ki Dun valley, and Rupin valley. Swargarohini also comes into view along with Black Peak and Bandarpoonch. Some of the other peaks you see include Gangotri, Jaonti, Yamnotri, Jorkanden, and Draupadi ka Danda. After spending some time on the top, you head back to the campsite, have lunch at a middle point of descending at the basecamp, and head towards Hargaon. After a wonderful day, spend the night in tents.
Day 5: Hargaon (2,575 m / 8,450 ft.) to Sankri (1,950 m / 6,400 ft.) and drive to Dehradun; 6 Km, 3-4 hours
Today is the last day of the trek and you will be heading towards Sankri from where it all started an approximately 6 km long trail counting about 4 hours. After breakfast, we will descend thru a more marked well-paved path, laden with stones. A trail further leads to a ridge from where you get an awesome view of Har Ki Dun valley. After reaching Sankri by noon, sign off after having hot and delicious lunch preferably before 01:00 PM since the journey takes 7-8 hours. The cab will be arranged at an additional cost from Sankri to Dehradun Railway station at 01:00 PM. Cost of the cab- Rs. 6,500/- per vehicle (One Way)

Usually, the buses left you in the Dehradun ISBT. From there you have to come to Dehradun railway station via Ola/Uber Cab/Auto Rickshaw/Shared Three Wheeler.

Wonderful trek arranged by team trekkaro! We went to Brahmatal on 26th Jan 2020. Everything was properly arranged and the FTG is a huge help. Would definitely recommend it. Though, one thing they should have mentioned beforehand: Lohajung basecamp is a campsite with tents and not a homestay. After traveling for almost 10-12hrs from Kathgodam to Lohajung, coming to know that you have to get into a tent on the spot is very difficult. So many of us were traveling from different cities for more than 24 hours and we couldn't get a place to rest or take a bath before the original trek started.

Hi! I had done the kedarkantha trek with them in their 11th jan 2020 batch. The team has experienced members, and the guide Guddu Bhai was experienced made the trek easier for us. The food provided was good. Though because of extreme weather, we had to cut short our trek. Rest all in all it was a very good experience with them. The main plus point about Trekkaro is their FTGs. Hello Guys, I am very happy to share my experience with Trekkaro company. It was a perfect and right decision of mine to choose Trekkaro. Their arrangements were perfect. I didn't face any difficulty with sleeping bags or tents. The food was awesome. I didn't expect Gulabjamun as a dessert at such height. Their team is so supportive. They didn't make me feel like I am a solo traveler. They helped me to complete my trek with all ease. The best part was trekking gears. Jackets were a blessing for us in such extreme conditions.Kushaal Bhai , Suri Bhai n Ranjeet Bhai helped lot.It's an obvious thing now that in the future will be doing my treks with Trekkaro only. We booked for the Kedarkantha trek in December. We were a group of 12. Everything from the pickup from Dehradun to the accommodation in -ve temperatures was completely planned. Our Guide was equally entertaining and professional, every trail was known to him. The only reason we could complete the trek was because of the trek gear #trekkaro provided us. I am not sure how did they manage to cook delicious food at those temperatures. The least temperature we experienced was -14°c and I can say the trek gear helped us enjoy even this kind of temperature. Believe me, you can't drive here by yourself if you don't have the experience. - super friendly instructors and amazing cooks - had fun playing with the snow with the team - very environmentally friendly and do things in a sustainable fashion as much as possible.

Kudos to Ranjith kaka who made our trek even more memorable with the ramouli didi song throughout the trek. We all danced and enjoyed this song many times on the trek. Not to forget the free trekking gears. We were initially afraid if the refund will come or not but trust us.. it was sooooo smooth. I went on the Kedarkantha trek and it was a really good lifetime memorable experience. The food was really good and nutritious and the staff really took good care of us and they are well trained. During our journey from Dehradun to Sankri, we were feeling dizzy due to the mountain roads so we took breakfast and skipped lunch. yesss I recommend @trekkaro. it waas a totally different experience and without them it won't be possible. The staff and all were very much supportive. The gears and jackets which were provided by them were very much useful. And the food was also nice.

Did Brahmatal trek with Trekkaro on Dec 7. Had an amazing and wonderful experience. It was hassle-free, and all the things were taken care of. FTG is their USP, which helped a lot to have a check on our spending. Guides were very experienced (Ranjith Dada and Kundan Bhaiya). Being the first trek for me, it was never disappointing for having chosen them. Would recommend to others and would do other treks in future with them.

I and my group of 5 friends completed the GulabiKantha trek with Trekaro. Everything from the start was good. They were very organized. The equipment that they provided as FTG was of very good quality. No other agency as far as I know provides FTG for treks in India. Our trek lead and our guide were constantly motivating us. We extremely loved all the days in the mountains. We returned back feeling happy and contented. It was one memorable experience. Day 1 : Reach Sankri (1,950 m / 6,400 ft.) from Dehradun; 188 Km, 8-9 hours
The cab will be arranged at an additional cost from Dehradun Railway Station to Sankri at 6:30 AM. Cost of the cab- Rs. 6,500/- per vehicle (one way)
Day 2 : Sankri (1,950 m / 6,400 ft.) to Juda Ka Talab (2,773 m / 9,100 ft.); 4 Km, 4-5 hours
Day 3 : Juda Ka Talab (2,773 m / 9,100 ft.) to Kedarkantha Base Camp (3,429 m / 11,250 ft.); 3 Km, 2-3 hours
Day 4 : Kedarkantha Base Camp (3,429 m / 11,250 ft.) to Kedarkantha Summit (3,810 m / 12,500 ft.) and descend to Hargaon (2,575 m / 8,450 ft.); 6 Km, 6-7 hour
Day 5 : Hargaon (2,575 m / 8,450 ft.) to Sankri and drive to Dehradun; 6 Km, 3-4 hours
